When: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2024, possible to add Friday 10th May if over 80 players entered the competition.

Graded Event: MS (men's singles), WS (women's singles), MD (men's doubles), WD (women's doubles). A and B grade for all events.

Entry fee for each event $40 and $70 per 2 events, Open is for players 13 years and over at 31st December 2024.

Tournament conditions

  • The Tournament will be run under the TNZ Tournament Regulations and Code of Conduct.
  • Participants must be a financial member of a Tennis Association in New Zealand.
  • Reporting time is 8.30am all days, play commences promptly at 9.00am both days (unless otherwise advised). Play will continue under lights if required.
  • Consolation will be held in all singles and doubles in all grades to ensure a minimum of 3 matches, where draws and weather permit.
  • The Bar will be open each day (2.30pm).
  • Lunch will be provided to all payers on both days from some of our sponsors.
  • The tournament will be held at Aoraki Tennis Centre, Timaru.
  • Matches will be the best of 3 sets: 2 tiebreaker sets to 6 with a 10-point match tiebreak for the 3rd set if required.
  • Tournament organisers reserve the right to amend matches, draws and score formats, where conditions dictate.
  • We reserve the right to limit numbers if necessary.
  • Entries are guaranteed once we have received your payment via online banking to Tennis South Canterbury with reference to: your first initial, surname and player code.
  • A grade are all players S1-6 and D1-6, B grade S7-12 and D7-12. The committee reserves the right to re-grade players, and create new grades if necessary.
  • Max 2 events per player. You cannot enter A and B grade for the same event, you must choose if you want be in A or B grade.
